First Aid Certification

The instructor‑led course teaches participants how to recognize emergencies, call for help and provide appropriate care until professional responders arrive. The class uses videos, group discussion and hands‑on practice to build confidence. Upon completion, students receive a two‑year certification accepted by employers and regulatory agencies.

First Aid training is suitable for:

• Workplace safety teams and OSHA‑required employees
• Teachers, coaches and childcare providers
• Outdoor enthusiasts and camp staff
• Parents, caregivers and babysitters
• Faith‑based and community organizations

• First‑aid basics: Assessing the scene, determining responsiveness and using protective equipment.
• Medical emergencies: Breathing difficulties, choking, heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergencies, seizures and opioid‑associated emergencies.
• Injury emergencies: Bleeding control, bandaging, shock management, internal injuries, sprains, strains and fractures.
• Environmental emergencies: Burns, bites and stings, heat‑ and cold‑related illnesses, poisoning and allergic reactions.
• Prevention strategies: Preventing illness and injury, understanding workplace hazards and using personal protective equipment.
• Choking help and drowning response: Techniques for adults, children and infants

•  First Aid only: A 3‑hour classroom course covering all topics above. 
•  First Aid + CPR/AED: Combine First Aid with Heartsaver CPR or Pediatric First Aid for comprehensive certification. 

 As a certified instructor with real emergency experience, I combine medical expertise with an approachable, hands-on teaching style. Students practice using tourniquets, epi-pens, and other essential supplies to build real confidence. Classes are small, flexible, and available on-site throughout the Gulf Coast. Certifications are issued the same day so you can meet job requirements without delay.
